After working on security teams at both Microsoft and Google, he became an independent bug bounty hunter and consultant. His Internet Explorer exploits popularized heap spraying techniques in the early 2000s. He has created a published a large number of tools for security researchers to use in finding, analyzing and exploiting security issues.
